How To Balance Your Sales Strategies

Reaching your target can be challenging. In an omnichannel world, everyone is trying to find the new solution that will increase their sales. We look for ways to go viral, in order to get a boost of revenues in, rapidly.

But what we cannot do, is forget the basic methods of making money. Otherwise, we are taking risks on potential creative ideas, that may not bring the revenues that we were hoping for. Here are ideas to create that equilibrium needed for our sales. 

Start the Traditional Way

Outbound Call Center

Sometimes, selling needs to be simple and direct. There is no better solution to get there than to do an outbound call. And if you really want to have this power multiplied, you can hire operators to work in your own outbound call center.

Thanks to technology, you can have you very own, inside the office, for a fraction of what it would have cost you, only ten years ago. With VoIP communication, you can connect as many lines as you want and have them controlled by the software, which will increase the efficiency of the employees that are calling out to prospects. 

One of the main advantages of an outbound call center is that it creates revenues rapidly. Therefore, it should cover your short-term sales strategies by itself, and fund the rest of them as well, after just a few weeks. When things are running smoothly, you can then switch the objectives of the department, by turning it into customer service. The outbound calls will then become about the quality of service, to make sure that you raise customer loyalty.

Advertise Online

Advertising, even if it is now done online, is still a traditional way to create sales. It has been going on for years, through newspapers, on TV, and also in the streets of major cities. Advertising is key to creating more sales, as it increases the number of people that know about your brand.

The more someone sees your brand’s name, the more he thinks of it as being safe and trustworthy. There will come a point when that individual will think of your company when he needs the kind of products or services that you sell. There is no other sale strategy that enables such growth of notoriety. However, you need to advertise continuously. Otherwise, your competitors will quickly replace you in the mind of your customers. 

Be present on Social Media

Social media, these days, cannot be considered a revolutionary way of selling. Yet, we can’t pretend that it has attained the title of traditional, since it has only been used for so many years, by now. What we can say, though, is that no sales strategy is complete, without taking them into account. We sometimes forget it, but the largest social media in the world is YouTube, by a long margin.

We see it as a great way to watch music videos, but we don’t always think of it as a great sales tool, which it definitely is. Placing short videos on YouTube is one of the most efficient ways to get new clients. Customers like to see how a product works, before buying it. If you create snippets that feature your products in an exciting way, you can be sure that your sales will increase, as soon as you find a way for people to go and watch them. 

Instagram and TikTok

The new social media that everyone wants to be seen on, is without a doubt, TikTok. However, it is quite different from all the others, so you have to learn how to present your message, if you don’t want it to backfire on you. TikTok is for a much younger crowd. Over 50% of its public is below 25 years of age.

What they are looking to find on this app is not advertisements for shoes, bicycles or computers. When they spend time looking at videos, they want to be entertained and to laugh. If what you are looking for is for your products to be seen, then Instagram is still the best solution, in terms of social media, today.

Many users follow brand’s accounts, just to see the latest models that they put out. Investing on growing your followers base, is definitely still worth it, in the coming new year. 

Send Your Brand into the Future of Marketing

Fiction Branded Content

When you play it safe in sales, you can only go so far. Those who were first to advertise on social media have risen much faster than those who are catching up on it, today. That is why you should certainly think about jumping on board of fiction branded content, as it starts rolling.

The concept is simple: You can sponsor a fiction character that will represent your brand inside stories that will include other characters. The visibility that you will pay for, will be amplified by the visibility that you will get from the whole ensemble. Most of all, you are getting to consumers through entertainment, which is an easier way to get to their heart than pure advertising.

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

Virtual Reality has been with us for a while now. It has not yet reached its full height, though. There is no doubt that, even if the Metaverse never becomes as big as Meta predicted in the beginning, it will still change some habits, in terms of how people buy their products online. Virtual reality will be an important part of this change in culture, and it would be a shame not to be included in the first group that will benefit from it.

As for augmented reality, it is really only at inception, still. Although there are quite a few players in the industry already, the full capacity it has to offer, specially in terms of marketing, is far from being deployed. It is most probable that its power to influence will be even greater than what virtual reality has to offer. This year, it is time to learn about it and to talk to specialists in the field, in order to know when and how to get into augmented reality, for your brand. 

Holograms

Finally, let’s mention the arrival of holograms in our living rooms. There is a new company that wants to have people come inside our house, in a holographic form. You will be able to talk with them and ask any questions you may have.

You can easily imagine the power this can have for a brand, no? But it will most probably take quite some time for everyone to own a box, that will enable the hologram to be seen. So, just keep it in mind for now.
